  1. I have read a lot of the books. The books I decided that I would like to read were City of Bones, and The Darkest Minds. The presenters gave things about the book that gave me a reason to read them. The books sounded interesting to me and it sounded like something I would enjoy reading. The book I really want to read out of the two is The Darkest Minds it sounded like a fun adventure packed book. I feel like this book would be a very good for me and that I should read it in the near future.

  2. One book that sounded interesting to me was The Alliance. The presenter, Mariah Law, gave a lot of interesting details without spoiling the ending. The visual aid was different from all the others I have seen before. She sounded like she genuinely enjoyed this book. It sounded like my favorite genre, dystopian. That is why I would like to read the Alliance.

  3. The AR project that stood out to me most was by Mariah Law. Her project was very original and made the book seem more interesting than it probably was. After hearing the book reports I know want to read Celina Mendez's book called The Odd Thomas. Her book sounded very suspenseful and interesting. It also seems like the book that has a lot of unusual twists in the book.

  4. One of the AR projects that I really liked was by Ashlee Weight. I thought it was neat that she painted the entire cover. It must of taken a lot of time and she did a great job with it. Ashlee's book itself doesn't interest me that much but I think that I would like to read Jarom Miller's book The Infinite Sea. His book sounded really interesting to me and he has told me a lot about it. I hope that I am able to read it eventually and I am glad that I got to see all of the AR projects that were presented.

  5. One of the AR projects that stood out to me was Grace Ady's picture. It showed some of the in depth themes from the book and was and interesting project. After seeing a project that cool about her book I now want to read it. I might do that book for my next AR project.

  6. One of the AR projects that stood out to me the most was Grace Ady's project. She did an art project, and you could definitely tell that she had put time and thought into the entire project. Almost every detail of the art was somehow twisted into the book and its theme.
Thanks to Kennedy Powell and Maddison Murray, I now want to read "The Darkest Minds" and "Paper Towns." Both books sounded very action-packed and unique. Also the presenters did a exceptional job in explaining their book.

  7. Danielle Patton's AR project stood out to me the most. The book presented on, "Emma" is a classical story by Jane Austen. I personally love this author, and Danielle's powerpoint project increased my curiosity about this literature. I loved the details Danielle gave when presenting and was entranced by the passion and interest she openly displayed for this story.

  8. I loved Danielle Patton's AR project about the book, "Emma," by Jane Austin. I had already started the book, so I was excited to see her presentation because I knew what she was talking about! I thought it was a great idea to introduce the main characters and it actually clarified a lot of questions I had about each character as I started the book. I would really like to read "Paper Towns" which Maddison Murray introduced. From what I got from Maddie's summary, the plot seems like a fun adventure to read about and the characters seem funny!

  9. All of the books sounded interesting but "Paper Towns" by John Greene that Maddison talked about really caught my attention. I've heard John Greene is a good author and would like to read some of his books and Maddi's presentation made it sound pretty great. "The Darkest Minds" presented by Kennedy, also interested me, it sounds like a good book and the way she explained it made it sound like fun to read. The Mortal Instruments series also made my reading list.

  10. I would have to agree with some of the other students when saying that the AR project that stood out most to me was Grace Ady’s collage. It was very well put together and it was obvious that she really put some thought into the collage itself and the reasons behind each detail. The book that I would now like to read is City of Bones. Kiley Todd explained the plot in a way that makes it sound very interesting.

  11. I really enjoyed Jarom's presentation of the sequel to the 5th Wave but I really really enjoyed Abbie Johnson's summary of her book. It sounds so interesting, it's a kidnapping and I really like reading to find out if everything turns out ok in the end! But, that book was taken so I'm planning to do "Looking for Alaska" By John Green because I love John Green and his work. I am excited and hopefully in the future I can read Abbie's book.

  12. There were a lot of good presentations that stood out to me, but Danielle's presentation on "Emma" by Jane Austen really caught my attention. She did good at describing the characters in the book. After she told us about the characters it made me want to learn more about them and what their roles were in the book. She also touched on just enough of the book to make me want to know the full story.

  13. I really was amazed by the drawing that Ashley did! It was extremely colorfull had great detail and she presented it wonderfully. However I don't want to read the book she read, I would to read the first book in the series that Matt is reading. He is reading the "The Lord of The Rings" series by J.R.R Tolkien. The first book is called "The Fellowship of The Ring". I want to read this book so that I can compare it with the movies, plus I've heard that it is really good.

  14. I thought that the book Abbie read was really cool. It was called "two baby's in blue" or something like that. I thought that she did a good job presenting. She made me feel a little sad while she gave her summary because she did such a good job. However, other students did other books, and I wanted to read another book anyway. I'm going to read "Sherlock Holmes". I have seen the movie and it looks good, and I think that the book would make me excited because of the cliffhangers in the movie.

  15. The AR project presentation that stuck out most to me was Kennedy’s presentation of “The Darkest Minds”. I liked her artistic view of the description of power the speaker in the book gives. I would really like to read it to find out what happens.
I also think it would be enjoyable to read “Paper Towns” (by John Green). John Green is one of my very favorite writers and Maddy’s summary of the book intrigued me. I’m curious as to how this adventure ends.
One of the other books that caught my attention was “13 Little Blue Envelopes”. I love mysteries, and having the mystery be a quest for a dead aunt makes it better.

  16. There were two AR presentations that I really loved. They were Kiley's presentation of "The City of Bones" and Kennedy's presentation of "The Darkest Minds." Kiley's movie trailer and description brought the book to life. This presentation also stuck out to me because I have already had the book recommended to me by a friend and her presentation helped me to decide that I want to read it.
Kennedy's presentation was very interesting and sounds a lot like some of the other books I have read. The longer she stayed up on the stage the more curious I was to find out how the book ends. I think that I will read both series in the near future.

  17. There were a few books that seemed interesting to me. One of them was "Thirteen Little Blue Envelopes" which Kenlie presented. I liked the sound of the mystery that was put into her presentation of the book.
The second book I enjoyed hearing about was "The Darkest Minds". Kennedy, as always, did her presentation very well and the book sounded like a good one.
One more book that I am now considering reading is "Emma" that Danielle presented through a prezi. One of the reasons why I like this book was because of the way Danielle presented her book with confidence and because she knew her book.

  18. The project that stood out the most too me was David Paulsens picture book. I really liked how as he was explaining his book he also was showing the pictures from his picture book. His project was great and his book sounded interesting but the book that I would like to read was Chase Labrums. He read the Maze Runner series I had read the first couple books and was losing interest but he made it sound exciting again.

  19. Although there were many interesting projects that were presented, there were a couple that stood out. When it came to the Abbie's book " Two Little Girls in Blue" it really pulled me in. I really like suspenseful and mystery books, and that one seemed to fit my expectations.
"The Alliance seemed good, but what really popped out of Mariah's book was her visual aid. It was quite creative, and no one else seemed to have the a similar looking one which made it unique.
When it came to going detailed into explaining the summary aloud Madison did really well with " The Help". She knew what to say and it was easy to understand clearly.

  20. I've read a lot of the books that where presented, but hearing about them from my peers made me have a desire to read them all again. But out of the ones I haven't read the three that sounded most intriguing was The Darkest Minds, Stardust, and 13 Little Blue Envelopes. I would like to read the darkest minds because I really like science fiction and it sounds full of adventure, mystery and everything you need in a book. I would like to read Stardust because I really enjoyed the movie and the book is always 20 million times better than the movie so it has to be good, plus it seemed to be really funny from the child's book that was presented and that's one of the things I look for in a book. The last one I would I thought about reading was 13 Little Blue envelopes, I want to read it because it sounds just like an adventure and just like a book that progresses especially with the character and you can just read and watch them grow and develop and I like those books because I like being able to see people grow and com pair my life to the one they had.

  21. "Paper Towns", by John Green was the presentation that stood out to me the most. I've been debating whether or not to read this book for some time, because I had heard many mixed opinions but none of them were very clear on what the book is really like. When Maddie Murray presented it, she was able to give a clear summary without giving spoilers and seemed able to get people excited and wanting to read the book. The characters seem very complex, dynamic, and interesting, and Maddie was still able to give us an idea as to what they were like. It was both well-presented, and seems like a book I will really enjoy.

  22. I heard a lot of very well prepared AR projects for this quarter. The only problem is, is there wasn't a lot that I think I would enjoy that much. But one book that struck my attention was presented by Grace Ady, she presented "The Book Thief" I really enjoyed the movie and since then I've always wanted to read the book but never had the chance. I now plan to read the book soon!

  23. The project that stood out the most to me was "I am Number Four," by Kaylee Anderson. I think it would be a really interesting book to read because I think that science fiction books are really cool. I love the idea that there is going to be tons of action since Four is trying not to get killed. I don't read science fiction books a lot, and there a bit out of my comfort zone, which would make it even more fun to read!

  24. There were a lot of projects that stood out to me, but I had read all of them (i.e. "I am Number Four", "The City of Bones", "Dragon Slippers", etc). However, there was one that I hadn't read. "The Guardian" by Caroline Deaver sounded interesting. It sounded like one of my favorite genres, fantasy type stuff. I really liked the idea of the mysterious gift at the beginning.

  25. The project that stood out the most to me was EmmaLee Reidheads. Her project was very creative and would interest little kids while telling about the characters in her book. The books that stood out were "Odd Thomas" and "Two Little Girls in Blue". They sounded like really good, exciting books that I would like. There presenters made them sound suspenseful and full of action. I will probably read them soon!

  26. There were many great projects but out of all of them the one that stood out to me was Ashlee Weight's. Her artistic painting of the cover of her book was amazing. The book that I would like to read is Abbie's which “Two Little Girls in Blue” was. To me her book sounded very interesting. It sounded like it had a very twisted plot with kidnappings, murder attempts, and many other action packed events.

  27. I reallly liked a lot of the books that my peers presented, but the one that intrigued me the most was Abbie Johnson's, "Two Little Girls in Blue". I really like the idea of a kidnapping, then receiving ransom, and only give one of the girls back...at first. The project that stood out to me was Ashlee Weight's. Her artistic ability is so amazing and it showed through her re-design of the Michael Vey cover. I honestly wished there were more pictures representing the events happening in the book, though.

  28. There were a couple of books that I wanted to read. The one I wanted to read the most would be The City of Bones. I have wanted to read it for a while, I just haven't gotten around to it. The second book that I want to read is Paper Towns. It sounds like a good book, with them breaking into Sea World and all.

  29. The AR project that stood out to me the most was Kennedy Powell's presentation on the book "The Darkest Minds". It sounded like the kind of book I would like and the way she presented it made me want to read it. Good job Kennedy.

  30. The AR project that seemed the most interesting to me was "The Darkest minds" presented by Kennedy. She presented and explained the book very well. The way that she explained and presented the book made me want to read it. I think that it would be a great book to read. I am very curious on how it ended.

  31. The AR project that stood out to me the most was Grace Ady's project on "The Book Thief." I have read half of it and Grace's collage has brought a desire to actually finish the book. I think that she did a good job on showing what was happening in the book.

  32. The AR book that stood out to me was "Paper Towns" by Maddie Murray. See made the book sound fun and with unpredictable things that would happen. Like when the characters break into Sea World. Maddie also did a good job showing what was happening in the book and made me want to read it.

  33. The book that stood out the most was the one by kennedy powell. I liked how the way she explained it made it show that the kids with the power's stood out from everyone else and how the safe haven seemed like a safe place for the gifted kids but was soon found out to be something more diffrent than that. The next AR book I read will probally be this one.

  34. The AR project that stood out to me was the one done by Grace Ady. She did a really good collage. It stood out to me because of the way it was a different way to do it than others have done it. I want to read the book Darkest Minds. I want to read this book because it sounds interesting and quick moving. This book sounds like a good fantasy book, and sounds as though it would be fun to read.

  35. The AR book that was most impressionable to me was the Maze Runner. However, since just about everybody has seen the movie or has read the book I will choose a different one. The book I plan on reading for next quarters AR project is Leven Thumps and the gate way to foo. Its a book about a kid who didn't know his parents and he lives with his abusive aunt and uncle. His life seemed pretty miserable until one day when he meat a magical creature called a sychopant. The sychopant Clover told the boy Leven about a magical realm called Foo, the sychopant also told him more about who he was. So together Leven and Clover go on a mission to find the magical land of Foo.I choose Leven thumps as a potential book because it seems to be an exciting action packed adventure .

  36. The book that I choose for next quarter is "I am Number Four." I got this book from Kaylee Anderson's AR project. The book is about a group of an alien race escaping there planets destruction from another alien race. The fleeing aliens land of earth and try to hide and survive from destruction. The aliens are given a number and can only be killed in numerical order. This book is about number four hiding and surviving. One through three are dead and now he is the prey facing his imminent death.

  37. The AR book that caught my attention the most was "Michael Vey Hunt For Jade Dragon". I really liked the way Jared explained the characters while Mason and Haylee gave us a summary or hints to the plot. I have already read the other three books to this series but after their presentations I was even more eager to read the fourth. Although I don't think I will choose this book for my AR project, as it has been used three times already, I am going to read it and hope it is as good as it sounded.

  38. I really liked Mariah Law's presentation about her book "Alligence". It was a very interesting sounding book that I think would be really cool to read. She made a really cool character description book to explain her characters and the story line by including real objects into our book and showing how they represented a character or event.

  39. Evan's presentation was the best by far. I could clearly see the city the main character was trapped in. Based on that presentation, I really want to see the Maze Runner. Lots of other people read this book and said that it was awesome, including my brother Parker. It looks like an action packed adventure book!

  40. I think jarom had the most interesting book and he was definitely the most convincing report and I really enjoyed his picture on his book about the Chess pieces and how much detail it had. I'm definitely going to read jaroms book after I finish the first book in the series he read the series is called The 5th Wave

  41. The AR project that stood out to me the most was Brian Spencer's project. I think he did a really good job presenting. I really want to read the Maze Runner now! The book sounds really interesting and exciting! I have seen the movie and I really liked it, I think the book will be even better so I am very excited to get started!

  42. Several AR projects stood out to me including "I Am Number Four" presented by Kaylee Anderson, "Belle" presented by Tess Larson, "Little Women" presented by Kristi Meacham, and "Paper Towns" presented by Maddy Murray. They were all able to show the story lines of their books clearly so I could actually tell what the book would be about if I chose to read it. I liked how each of them show cased special and exciting pieces of their books that they themselves had particularly enjoyed. I hope that I'll have time this next semester to read them along with my next AR book (which I've already picked out) because I'd like to read them all! My next AR book that I've chosen is "Looking for Alaska" written by John Green. This book stuck out to me because I have been interested in reading more from John Green ever since I read the heart-breaking story "The Fault in Our Stars". I've heard that this book is also going to have a tragic ending but I hope that won't ruin the book for me too much... Either way I'm excited to read it!

  43. I enjoyed the presentation of "The Alliance" by Maria Law. I liked the way she presented her book. Her big book of characters was very creative. When she did her summary she did a good job summarizing it instead of saying lots of details about the beginning. When we had a question she was good about answering it.

  44. A lot of the AR projects seemed really interesting! But the AR project that stood out to me the most was "Paper Towns" by Maddie Murray. She made it sound such a fun book. I loved her presentation! It made me really want to know the whole story.
